Fun food dif ppl woohoo
It was an enjoyable festival, but the day i went, i was highly disappointed in it being called a "strawberry festival". As a "festival"it was great. But it was definitely lacking in the strawberry department. When i first arrived, i seen a guy selling chocolate covered strawberries (2 trays), strawberry short cake, and fruit salad. I also seen one strawberry ride for the kids. Aside from that, no strawberries! I was highly disappointed,as i expected to see strawberries everywhere! Also, the games for prizes were $5 per play. I thought that was a LITTLE steep. The part i midday enjoyed was seeing Batman speak about drug prevention in the community. His message was relatable to both kids and adults. I think he did a fantastic job. The live music and food vendors were also outstanding!
Had a great time. The parade and food was great!
I go every year. The Grand Feature Parade is just that, grand. The hardworking staff brings in band after band and dance group after dance group to make for a very exciting day. And, after the parade, go to Main Street for food, live music, and craft shopping.
Our favorite thing to go to as a family. The food is too expensive.
